We are a family business situated in the hills near Perth, Western Australia.
Louise Thorpe has been an artist and designer for 39 years and has owned horses
for over 29 years.
After hundreds of bottles of sunscreen and a few accidental episodes of over exposure
she started riding in summer in long sleeved shirts, However these were not very comfortable
and the idea for 'Hot to Trot' was born.
The other partner in the business is Tim Thorpe who has patiently carted hay and bags of feed,
endlessly mended fences, fixed floats and  learnt to ride in his mid thirties after never having
sat on a horse before!
