Stretchtex does not use chemical treatments to achieve a high UPF rating. The high protection factor is due to the sun protective fibres and tight knitting construction of the fabric.
Hot to Trot is proud to use this Australian made fabric.
We also use Hydro Mesh by St. Ledger Textiles
This is also 100% Australian made with a hydrophilic moisture management. It is constructed from high tech ultra fine multi-filament microfibre yarn. The multi-filament mesh acts as a wick and draws
any moisture to the face of the fabric. When the moisture is exposed to the atmosphere it evaporates, leaving the fabric dry to the touch.
These fabrics are extremely comfortable for the wearer.
The UPF ratings are confirmed by the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency www.arpansa.gov.au
